At the last minute, I decided to attend a two-day conference for entrepreneurs in San Francisco. In these tough economic times do not want to incur debt unnecessary. So I decided to use my accumulated mileage on American Airlines Advantage and paid a fee of $ 10 from New York to California. I was lucky to get a cheap trip SFI Bay with AirPort Express for $ 16. I searched the Internet for reasonable hotel rates within walking distance of the conference center at the Marriott Fisherman's Wharf, but only found one that had a room available. The disadvantage, but not relevant to me was that there is no elevator and shared bathrooms on each floor. I felt very safe because the door is locked at all times. I found that I never had to do queue for the shower or toilet. Since picturesque sharing a room with a friend, cost $ 75 per night was perfect, although there was a sign outside that says $ 65.

After unpacking, I had the opportunity to go for a walk and take some refreshment at a nearby cafe. I enjoyed a freshly prepared spinach salad with mushrooms Portabella and tofu for $ 7 while sitting outside in the glorious sunshine. Usually, if I go to an unfamiliar city, walk about as far as possible to various areas to view it as a local resident, rather than a tourist. We had spent 3 / 4 of the Golden Gate Bridge when suddenly the wind broke my favorite water hat and tried to take it. Well, within a split second flew over my handlebars. Fortunately, I went to get my hat bayfront had a chance to swallow. Unfortunately, the steering column of my bike was twisted from the fall.

Thank God, nobody was there behind me! That would have been a disaster! I only had a few scratches. Somehow I got across the bridge and our guidance to fix my bike. From there, everything went downhill in charming Sausalito for a quick lunch and back to the ferry dock. The cost of $ 50 includes bike rental and also the definetaly ferry worthwhile. Without doubt, the trip was exciting. He gave us the opportunity to see the spectacular sights and enjoy a beautiful sunny day with lots of new friends.

The conference turned out to be a lot of fun with like minded people all eager to learn. What better way to combine business with pleasure? It helps to keep you young, healthy, and focused.
